Shipping Testing FAQs

TestSignal temporarily hides your original rate and replaces it with the test group’s rate in real time at checkout. All other rates stay untouched unless you explicitly choose to test them.

No — TestSignal locks each customer into the same group across sessions using device + browser identifiers, ensuring consistent shipping rates from product page → cart → checkout.

When the test finishes, TestSignal restores any shipping rates that were hidden during the experiment, putting you back to your original rate setup.

Yes — you can test one or multiple zones at the same time. Each zone gets its own test rate per group.

Absolutely. Create one group with a $0 rate and another with any flat or conditional rate — perfect for measuring AOV lift, checkout conversion, and cart abandonment changes.

Yes — choose a start date, end date, or run indefinitely. For “Indefinitely” tests, you’ll end them manually from the three-dot menu → End Now.
