Revenue View

The Revenue view helps you understand how each test group impacts your store’s earning power. These metrics highlight how much value each visitor and order generates — giving you a deeper view beyond conversion rates.

Total Visitor Count Calculation

  • Price, Image & Description Tests:Total visitors = Product visitors (only visitors to the targeted products)
  • Theme & Layout Tests:Total visitors = Store visitors
  • Shipping Tests:Total visitors = Checkout visitors (visitors who reached checkout)

Revenue per Visitor (RPV)

What it shows: How much revenue you earn per visitor — the most important profitability metric.
Formula: Total Revenue ÷ Total Visitors

Average Order Value (AOV)

What it shows: The average amount spent per completed order. profitability metric.
Formula: Total Revenue ÷ Number of Orders

Shipping Revenue per Order

What it shows: How much shipping revenue you generate on average per order (useful for shipping tests).
Formula: Total Shipping Revenue ÷ Number of Orders

Average Unit Revenue (AUR)

What it shows: Average revenue per unit sold — great for price sensitivity analysis.
Formula: Total Product Revenue ÷ Total Units Sold

Units per Transaction (UPT)

What it shows: How many units customers buy per order on average.
Formula: Total Units Sold ÷ Number of Orders
