What is Image Testing?
Image Testing lets you compare different visual styles of your product — such as white-background images, lifestyle shots, or model photos — to see which one drives higher engagement and conversions. Since product imagery is one of the biggest influence points in a shopper’s decision-making process, even small changes can lead to major lifts in click-through rate, add-to-cart rate, and revenue.
How does it work?
TestSignal makes image testing seamless by allowing you to assign alternate product images to different test groups. Once your test goes live, each shopper is placed into a group and consistently sees the assigned image variation everywhere the product appears — on product pages, collection pages, quick views, and cart previews.

How can I get started?

Simply go to your Shopify Online Store and click Customize, then navigate to the App Embeds section. Locate the TestSignal app toggle, turn it on, and save your changes.
